Tanveer regains the Crown


A Long wait for glory ended for the Mysuru's former National Champion Tanveer, who lost his championship by just 3 points in 2024. Abdul Wahid Tanveer from Petronas TVS Racing dominated the Rally of Chikmagalur right from the start and being the fastest in all the seven stages. He also is the 2025 National Champion of the MRF Mogrip FMSCI National Championship 2W 2025. With a lead of 19sec over his teammate Samuel Jacob he clinched the round and the Title for 2025.  His second teammate defending champion Rajendra RE was running consistently in second position but a crash in SS4 was the reason to finish in third with  20sec difference. Tumkuru boy Arun T riding for Hero Motorsport with over  1min 19sec difference finished in fourth and Imran Pasha from Petronas TVS Racing finished overall fifth with further 13sec difference.

With 2 stages in the Menu to be taken on four times. Palya was run thrice in forward direction and Vasant Cool stage was taken on four times in forward direction held in the outskirts of Chikmagalur. Promoted by God Speed and Organised by MSCC. 


Super Bike Pro Expert upto 500cc GroupA:

Likewise the overall finishers, Tanveer, Samuel and Rajendra all from Petronas TVS Racing finished in the same order.


Super Bike Expert upto 500cc GroupA:

The lone participant Nataraj R from VM Motorsports was the topper and finished 8th overall.


Super Sport upto 165cc GroupB:

By clocking the fastest stage timing in four of the seven stages Bengalurian Bharath L from VM Motorsports with a lead of 12sec was the winner while his teammate Nithyan L from Coimbatore managed was the fastest in the last three of the seven stages finished second,  privateer Dheeraj H from Shivamogga finished a distinct third.


SuperSport above 165 to 260cc GroupB:

Arun T from Hero Motorsport was the fastest in all the Palya stage and the final Vasant Cool stage was the winner of the class, as Imran Pasha from TVS Racing who is just recovering from the previous round leg injury with  12sec deficit settled for second position, Karan Kumar from Hero Motorsport with further 21sec difference was third. Banteilang Jyrwa and Sachin D both from TVS Racing finished in fourth and fifth position respectively.


SuperSport from 260 to  460cc GroupB:

Hemanth M from Bengaluru representing VM Motorsports being the fastest in all the stages with a healthy lead of over 3minutes was the winner of the class as Localite Puneeth KS finished in second position, second Bengalurian Vijay Kumar M  finished a distinct third.


Scooter class upto 210cc GroupB:

Syed Asif Ali from Petronas TVS Racing was unchallenged in spite of having silencer issues, but was unable to continue being fastest in the stages, with a detached silencer in the final two stages and losing time held on to a 13sec lead over his second finisher teammate Karthik N, Privateer Goutham N from Bengaluru completed the podium with over 5min deficit. Ganapathy finished in fourth while Shamim from Petronas TVS Racing did not finish.


Women's class upto 450cc GroupB:

Somyya Chaudhary from Hero Motorsport was fastest in the first six stages to accumulate a lead of over 2min 14sec to a win, on the second finisher Aishwarya Pissay from Petronas TVS Racing who was not looking comfortable right from the start facing handling issues.


Super Stock from 165 to 260cc GroupD:

Puducherry's Navaneeth Kumar from VM Motorsports with a total time of 57min 55.563 sec was the winner of the class, Jagadeesh G from Coimbatore with 1min 42sec difference was second and Pradeep C from Bengaluru completed the podium with a further less than two minutes difference. Jeevanandham D from Coimbatore and jayson Joy from Bengaluru finished in fourth and fifth position respectively.


Super Stock 260 to 450cc GroupD:

By clocking 6 best stage timings Bengaluru's Devraj Venkatesh from VM Motorsports was the leader as Chandan Kumar M from Guwahati followed him in second with a difference of over a minute and Hubbali's Chetan Hosatti finished third.


Star of Karnataka:

Shivamogga's Darpan Darshan with a lead of over 1min was the winner, while the second finisher Toufiq Azam Basha from Bhadravathi managed to finish ahead of Bengularian Vishwas SD who has made a comeback after nearly five years and completed the podium. Localites Krithin Naveen and Mohammed Ajaruddin finished in fourth and fifth position.
