Indian Oil Corporation (IOC) recently launched XP100 – India’s first 100 Octane petrol and one of the world’s best premium grade petrol for high-end bikes and cars. To promote the product, the company organized Indian Oil-Harley-Davidson Friendship Meet where around 60 plus Harley Davidson’s from Seven Island Chapter from Mumbai and 50 plus Harley Davidson’s from Two Rivers chapter from Pune converged to meet at Karla, Lonavala. “This is one of the biggest event where we are interacting with such a big and enthusiastic high end petrol users and it shows that the decision of the Corporation to bring this 100 Octane fuel was much required XP100 is an ultra modern, ultra-premium product designed to feed your super bikes and cars and thrill your senses. It is the finest grade of petrol to give your vehicle higher power and performance and give you a delightful drive,” said Ajay Shrivastava, General Manager(RS),Maharashtra. “In order to fulfill the aspirations of the well-heeled car aficionados, who drive the modern machines that reflect the engineering marvels of the automobile revolution and to match their high-performance beasts, Indian Oil has led the path to launch a high performing and the 'best-in-class 'premium fuel”, added Narendra Gangakhedkar, Chief Manager (Retail Sales).
The meet then went on with informal exchanges about the Super bikes and their rides and their experiences of using XP100. One of the rider Prashant asked why did Indian Oil bring in this 100 Octane Petrol to which Mr Gangakhedkar replied “In order to fulfill the aspirations of the well-heeled car aficionados, who drive the modern machines that reflect the engineering marvels of the automobile revolution and to match their high-performance beasts, Indian Oil has led the path to launch a high performing and the best-in-class premium fuel.” He also said that “XP100 – Indian Oil’s premium grade petrol with 100 Octane is designed to rev up the engine, give faster acceleration, significantly boost engine performance, give better drivability, enhanced fuel economy and engine life.” Another rider Sachin who owns a lovely CVO said ”I filled up the bike with XP100 and it zoomed to Surat without a refill. The drive was amazing”. The highest kms logged by Male and Female, the Best Couple riders were appreciated by a small gift.
