Third position for Muskaan in womens class, as a double for Vidit Jain and Muskaan Jubbal, while Sahil Khanna finished third in Doubles.

India clinches three podiums by delivering a stellar performance at the prestigious FIA-sanctioned international Gymkhana motorsport event held on 31st May and 1st June 2025 at the Sokol Race Track, Kazakhstan.

Sahil Khanna and Vidit Jain finished third in the Male doubles, similarly third position in Mixed Doubles was bagged by Muskaan Jubbal and Vidit Jain, while Muskaan Jubbal also finished third in the Femala Solo class at the AAGC.

The event, hosted under the aegis of FAMS Kyrgyzstan, brought together top-tier talent from eight countries across Asia—India, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, and Singapore—in an exhilarating display of precision driving and team coordination.

The event followed the Gymkhana format, a highly technical and skill-based motorsport discipline that challenges drivers to navigate a timed course featuring tight turns, slaloms, figure-eights, and complex obstacle layouts—all requiring precision, control, and agility. This structured international format was conceptualized and developed by Dr. Kwong Yeung, the founder of Auto Gymkhana. Dr. Yeung was present at the event to oversee proceedings and ensure smooth and fair competition, maintaining the high standards the format is known for.

The high-adrenaline competition featured four categories: Male Solo, Female Solo, Male Doubles, and Mixed Doubles. Representing India under the banner of FMSCI (Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India) were Sahil Khanna, Vidit Jain, and Muskaan Jubbal—selected through a rigorous national qualifier held at the Madras International Circuit, Chennai in April 2025.

Sahil Khanna, a versatile rally driver and national champion, has been consistently making a mark in Auto Gymkhana as well. He represented India at the FIA Motorsport Games 2024 in Valencia, Spain, in the Cross Car category, finishing an impressive 10th among 40 nations.

Vidit Jain, with a strong foundation in karting and circuit racing, began his motorsport journey with the JK Tyre Karting Championship in 2002 and later won the Rookie Championship of Polo Cup in 2010. Since 2018, he has been a constant presence in the Asian Auto Gymkhana Championship (AAGC), representing India across Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Uzbekistan, and now Kazakhstan, bringing unmatched experience and consistency to the Indian lineup.

However, it was Muskaan Jubbal who emerged as the breakout star. Making her international and Gymkhana debut, Muskaan impressed with two podium finishes and was recognized as the youngest participant in the entire event. Despite this being her first time on such a stage, she brought with her a strong track record—former National Karting Champion, winner of all three rounds of the FIA Girls on Track Slalom Series in 2019, and a multi-award winner in the MRF Saloon Car Championship. Muskaan’s versatility across karting, circuit racing, autocross, and slalom has already made her one of the most promising and influential young women in Indian motorsport. Her standout performance in Kazakhstan is yet another milestone in her inspiring journey.

Looking ahead, the Indian team will now prepare for the next round of the Asian Auto Gymkhana Championship (AAGC), scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka this September. With momentum on their side and a strong mix of experience and emerging talent, Team India is poised to make a deeper mark on the Asian motorsport scene.
