Tanveer wins the Rally of Nashik


Tanveer won the final round of MRF Mogrip Indian National Rally Championship 2023 held in the outskirts of Nashik. Samuel who was leading till the final stage lost lot of time in stage3 and slided down to second. Abdul Wahid Tanveer from Mysuru representing Petronas TVS Racing was the winner with a lead of less than a second over his teammate Samuel Jacob who finished second, Imran Pasha finished third with a further difference of 10sec. Sachin D was further slower by 44sec to finish fourth, with a 32 sec difference which included 10sec liaison penalties Yuva Kumar from Hero Motosport finished fifth. Privateer Pavan BK from Bengaluru with 55sec difference finished sixth. Karan Kumar M from Hero Motosport with further 8sec difference was seventh, Amogh Nag a privateer from Bengaluru with less than two seconds difference was eighth, Banteilang Jyrwa with 32s ec further difference finished ninth while Sabarish from Bengaluru with 39 sec difference was tenth.




Super Bike Pro Expert GroupA: Abdul Wahid Tanveer was the winner of the class followed by Samuel Jacob in second position, while Yuva Kumar finished third, as his team mate from Hero Motosport Tanika Shanbhag finished fourth.




Super Bike Expert GroupA: GS Amogh Nag a privateer from Bengaluru was the topper of the class with a total time of 29min 50sec, followed him in second position was Venu Ramesh Kumar for Kovai with a difference of 1min 55sec.


Super Sport 165 GroupB: Abrar Pasha was the winner of the class he with a difference of 2min 10sec manage to keep Muzaffar Ali behind him in second position, Niraj Wanjale with a difference of 21sec finished third. Nitish Chaudhari with 1min 41sec difference was fourth.


Super Sport 260 GroupB: Imran Pasha from Petronas TVS Racing was the winner of the class with a total time of 27min29sec, while his teammate Sachin D followed him in second position and Pavan BK a privateer from Bengaluru finished third. Karan Kumar from Hero Motosport missed the podium with a 8sec deficit and settled for fourth, Banteilang Jyrwa from Petronas TVS Racing was a distinct fifth.


Super Sport 400cc GroupB: Rohit Shinde with a total time of 31min 35sec held on to the top position, while Tanay Kasera with a difference of 1min 1sec finished second.


Super Sport 550c GroupB:

Darshan Chaure with a total time of 33min 33sec clinched the class followed by Santosh Sarkale in second with a difference of 38sec, as Nilesh Thakare a seasoned rider from Nashik finished third with a further difference of 44sec.


Scooter class upto 210cc GroupB:

Shamim Khan from Petronas TVS Racing was the winner of the class, his teammates Syed Asif with a difference of 36sec finished second and Karthik N with a further difference of 43sec was third. Privateer from Mumbai Venkatesh Shetty was third with a further 1min 13sec difference Hiten Thakkar from Pune finished a distinct fifth.

Womens class: This class had a lone finisher Tanaya Singh with a total time of 32min 39sec.




Super Sport upto 450cc GroupD: Sabarish R with a total time of 31min 1sec was the winner of the class followed by Uday Kumar in second with a difference of 2min 12sec, finished third was Abhimanyu Ray with a further difference of 44sec. Kaustubh Lohar finished fourth and Nayan Wagh finished in fifth position.

Star of Maharashtra:


Abhishek Pardeshi was the winner fo the class with a total time of 33min 48sec, as with a difference of 1min 49sec Kunal Singh finished in second and Amarendra Sathe a seasoned rider from Pune completed the podium. Aditya Rajput missed the podium with a difference of 3sec and had to settle for fourth position. Kaustubh Machhe with a further difference of min 7sec finished in fifth and Gaurav Pathare finished in sixth position.
