For the third time in consecutive seasons the MRF Rally of Chikmagalur received over 100 entries in the Round 2 of the MRF Mogrip FMSCI National Rally Championship 2024 for 2 wheelers. The event was flagged-off by Sri SL Bhojegowda - MLC, Sri Ashwath Babu - DHO and Sri BH Narendra Pai in presence of Jayant Pai President MSCC. From the total of seven lady participants Five women will participants in the women's class and the remaining two shall participate in the Group A category. While Tanveer will be the route opener in the three stages, Palya which is 5.93kms, Sanehadlu is 5.42kms and Vasant Cool is 8.68kms cumulating to over 20kms which is going to be run thrice.
The major challenge for all will be the rise in mercury level, keeping hydrated will be on cards. While the organisers Motor Sports Clubs of Chikmagaluru and promoter God Speed are leaving no stone unturned to keep the entire participants, Marshalls, communication and Media en route hydrated with adequate water supply. With no rain expected it shall be a dry and dusty spell for the first time in Chikmagaluru.
