Double podium for two Indian riders at MSBK 2023 - R1



It was a Double podium for two Indian riders, Rakshith Dave in his first International race was the winner of both the races in Category B, while Geoffrey Emmanuel Jebaraj was on the podium finishing third twice in Category A in the Round one of the MSBK 2023, Malaysian Super Bike Championship held at Sepang International Circuit.


With a double win for the CRA Motorsports India's rider Rakshith Dave the remaining three riders Ashish Patel, Ramesh Rohan, Abhinav Gunasekaran finished in top ten.


Racing for the first time on a International circuit Rakshith Dave from Chennai participated in Category B and managed to be on the podium in both the races in race1 he started in P2 and managed to lead from the second lap and finished on top position and in race two he had to fight out till the end, after leading initially he lost his position and had to struggle till the last lap to regain the top slot which he did in the back straight in the final lap.


Never the less it was a double third finish for the Chennai rider Geoffrey Emmanuel Jebaraj in the Category A starting from P3, with no test time participated in the last minute prepared bike. In race1 he finished in third position and he race 2 he was facing clutch issues but still managed to finish on podium.


The remaining three CRA Motorsports riders participated in Category A. Ashish Patel in his second year of International racing finished 5th in race one and was doing well but had a crash in race two and had to pull out and he scored 11 points in the round. Ramesh Rohan from Coimbatore gained 20 points from two races with a 6th position finish in both the races. Abhinav Gunasekeran from Coimbatore with a double 7th position finish accumulated 18 points from two races.



In Asia Talent Cup Sarthak Chavan from India started 17th in both the races and managed to finish in 14th position in race1 and in race2 while fighting for 11th position he had a crash.
